BioNet International Sdn. Bhd was found by Dr. Kan Kok Ming. He graduated with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from University Science Malaysia in 1999. He was then further his study in Bachelor of Science (Hons)-Microbiology from University Putra Malaysia and subsequently M.D and PhD in Alternative Medicines from Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, India – an institution established under World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr. Kan had been working with the Malaysia largest medical laboratory, Pathlab as Medical Laboratory Scientist. Upon completion of his Bachelor in Microbiology, he also worked as a Research Officer in the area of biotechnology in Medical Faculty, University Putra Malaysia. He was then jointed a local listed biotechnology company, INS Bioscience Bhd and worked as the Senior Manager and Head of Product Development Department. Over the past 3 years in INS Bioscience Bhd., he was in charged of developing new product and was the key person in dealing with the company’s International Technical Advisor Board whereby members are the professors from a few countries such as Malaysia, China, Japan and Switzerland. As a Head of Product Development, he was the main person to give training as well as marketing in Malaysia and all the branches in the world such as Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, India and USA. With the experiences and contacts established over the years, he then set up his own company named BioNet International Sdn. Bhd. and keep fighting for a place in Asia in the area of Biotechnology! |
